French courts have fined eBay €40 Million in damages to LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy) which includes 50 top luxury brands such as Christian Dior, Kenzo, Givenchy, and ofcourse Louis Vuitton is sueing due to claims that eBay have been negligent in allowing illegal copies of their goods to be sold in online auctions!
Fake? On ebay? NEVER! lol
So this is the breakdown of what eBay has to pay:
€19.28m to Louis Vuitton Malletier
€17.3m to Christian Dior Couture
€3.25m to the perfume brands
