So I was looking around on my favourite blogs whilst at work - as you do.
and i came across this article about this Dior phone encrusted with diamonds which costs $26,000 - wtf? - im sorry, but look at the picture, its an ugly phone, it has no special features except this clippy thing which basically connects up to your phone via bluetooth and lets you know when someones calling/text etc. -> completely unnecessary, and just a show-off tool.
-640 stones of 3251 carats of Swarovski crystals (great!)
-2.6-inch touch screen with QVGA resolution (fuck touch screen - after having an LG VIEWTY! - piece of shite)
-2-megapixel camera (pro photography going on here)
-ringtones (oh shit - this must be the unique selling point )
-USB-sized miniature "My Dior" auxiliary cellphone (might as well were a sign around your neck saying "jack me, jack me now")
Another toy for Paris Hilton i guess.
Just to put this into perspective - $26,000 is around £13,200 - and that backs out to around 1,320 Watermelon & Mint Al-Fakher shisha's in London. - I used a metric that I'm more familiar with.
